MV Agusta has just released a very pretty Special Edition Superveloce Ago to the masses in commemoration of the outstanding legacy of ex-factory racer Giacomo Agostini – and it’s a retro sports bike reminiscent of Agusta’s previous homages to the man (the Italian manufacturer’s F4 Ago and F3 Ago).

With Agostini having snatched 15 world championships across his career (and 311 individual GP victories), the report from MCN states that this particular edition will sport some pricey goods, including handcrafted carbon fiber for the bodywork, mudguard support, side fairing, mudguard, tail unit, under-seat cover, chain guard and swingarm protector.

Housed within the veritable temple of lightweight synthetic armor is a set of top-notch suspensions (Öhlins: fully adjustable 43mm MIX forks up front and a TTX36 shock at the rear), as well as forged aluminum triple clamps with a CNCed alloy steering damper mount.

Raring to go all-out for the occasion? MV Agusta also has an optional racing kit that features a fancy, homologated three-in-one asymmetric Arrow exhaust and will be made available to the masses.

If you’re looking for exclusivity, don’t worry – the Italian manufacturer only plans on rolling out 311 units, each starting from the luxury price of €32.100. As per previous Ago editions, every unit of this series will feature a signature numbered carbon fiber plate on the tank strap, with the first 15 models dedicated to the world titles.

Let us know if you plan on getting your hands on one of these beauties, or if you’re already housing an F3/F4 Ago machine in the spot of honor -and while you’re here, make sure to check out MV Agusta’s recent plans to jump into the EV world, as well as the photo gallery below courtesy of Agusta’s website.
