I just bought a 2012 700X and I want to put some Continental TKC80 tires on it. I looks like they make the right size for my front wheel (120/70/17), but the rear wheel options don't match the exact spec of 160/60/17. Does anybody know if I can substitute the 150/70B/17 for my rear tire?? Thanks!

That's what I'm running on my 2018. Seems to be working just fine and I don't think the wheel sizes are any different so you should be just fine.

Thanks for the info CapeMan! Does the 2018 model call for the same tire size as the 2012?

Front - 120/70/17
Rear - 160/60/17

Thanks again for your help!

160/60 would be a tire height of 96mm 150/70 would be about 105 mm, not much difference but a little narrower. If you are looking for a tire that works better off road narrower may be what you want.

I am running the Shinko 705 170/60 on the rear of my NC which has a height of 102mm but is a little wider than spec but since I ride almost exclusively on the street this one works better for me.
