Yeah, that's kinda where I'm at. My right leg is still healing, it works but not without pain and not fully functional, and unfortunately this was most likely my last bike. Ah well, it is what it is, I guess. Luckily the traffic and new gas station cameras caught it all along with nurses and emergency personnel being at the gas station so they were quick to respond.
I was lucky, not much damage to the legs so was walking three days after. It was also cctv from the gas station for me as well. Basically I broke my back and neck, broke my wrist, both hands, impact dissected a vascular artery and so I had two strokes. I'm very thankful to the passing motorist that kept me down when I wanted to check on the bike
Doubt my wife will let me back on a bike now after that. Sorta life changing bit change is sometimes good. Gotta keep positive.
All the best with the recovery. Every day it gets a bit better.

Sorry to hear you guys are busted up. These motorcycles can be dangerous things sometimes. Heal well

Sorry for the empty message. Not used to this forum yet. Just picked up a 2014 NC 700x dct. I am going to use it as a commuting bike. Tried it yesterday and like it for that.

My main machine is a 2014 Honda Valkyrie which is a blast to ride. I have not ridden as many bikes as some but it’s 16 at this point. I am 68 and stil working. So far so good.

I live on the MS gulf coast where I have been since 1992. Love the area and the people of the south. After 20 years in the Marines this is my favorite spot.

This is my first dct bike. It’s fun to just twist the throttle and go!
Like the forum, lots of good info here.

Hello All. I am purchasing a 13 NC700x today. I've owned many bikes in my 50+ years of riding, including 3 Burgman scoots. But I'll need to educate myself on the DCT trans on this bike.
