I hope this has not been posted before (I am new here) but this is what got me thinking about a Honda NC700. You can skip the long lead in by clicking the orange box top right of screen.

Yeah, I saw that video in advance of buying my own DCT in August. Watching it again this evening I would concur with everything he says. He did a nice job on the video and it played a part in my purchase. I'm way happy I did. I'd been eyeing the V-Strom 650 as well as a BMW G650gs or the twin 800cc version which I almost bought. In one instance where I nearly dropped the NC700 in a slippery corner, I'm pretty sure I would have dropped the V-Strom or the 800 BMW due to their higher COG. And I am totally sold on the auto tranny. It's awesome and I think it should be considered a safety feature in itself. I don't wish I was shifting gears at all.

Thats one of the best video reviews out there for the NC700X, makes me want to get one yesterday!
