First off, I wanna thank everyone who offered advice, whether it was about my technique or more general advice. I was actually able to get in touch with my class instructor and mentioned my issues. Apparently he actually meant to say something to me, but there was another attendee who was more of a problem so they got more attention. He did say that he noticed I was a bit hesitant. He said to just slow down when I take turns and to utilize university/ stadium parking lots. I have made more of an effort to take turns over the weekend and idk what changed but I'm much more confident, not dangerously so, I'm not riding beyond my means. A member in the previous thread mentioned that when I feel I am going wide, push on the handlebar a little bit more. This has been monumental in changing my technique. As previously stated, I was in a weird state of mind that day. It was overcast, and I have SAD (seasonal affective disorder) so that definitely probably payed a big part. I just got my license so I'm trying to ride every chance I get, but I will take a more active role in determining my attitude and how that might effect my riding.

Good on you for continuing your moto education. I think (hope) that, as you become more experienced and comfortable, you will find that riding will affect your attitude - quite positively.
