Red "low fuel light" stays on after bike is shut down.

I've owned a 2012 Xmodel for two weeks and I just noticed today that the low fuel bar in the fuel level indicator stays a solid red after engine shut down. Is this normal? I don't see anything in the manual. I'm worried it's warning of something and may kill the battery. Thanks for your help!

I noticed someone else posted the same concern and....all is well. I think i will find that this forum will cover just about anything that comes up. Thanks for your posts!

There is a FAQ page sticky in the Main Lobby forum that covers this concern.

The red bar is "painted" on the reflective backing sheet behind the LCD plate. It is always visible when the bike is off.
