In a recent press release, Riders Share just announced that riders are now able to pay a monthly subscription to receive hefty discounts across its motorcycle rental marketplace.



Riders Share hosts a massive marketplace using a peer-to-peer rental model that allows those traveling or those who wish to test out a potential next purchase, to hop on two wheels for a fraction of the price of a brick and mortar motorcycle rental company. If I pay $264 for a year, to get that money "back" I have to spend on rental $754. That's 10 days of renting $75/day CRF250L with 25% discount for renting 5+ days . Or 5 days of renting BMW R1250RT $135/day, with 25% discount.
If you rent just over a weekend, it's 5% discount, and you can rent 4 weekends, $75/day (8 days in total). Or 2 weekends of BMW.
That's quite bit chunk of money to rent. I spend that much money riding and camping for a whole week.

Am I missing something?

Eagle Rider has similar thing, you pay $26/month and get a point, and then you use points to rent a bike. 1 or 2 points per day, depending of the bike. 3 points is trike I think.
