Spark plug spanner length

Hi All.

The NC700X 2012 I bought has no spark box spanner.

Can anyone tell me the length of the 16mm box I need to get from my local hardware store?

Buy a specific 3/8 drive 5/8" or 16 mm spark plug socket.
It will be the correct length, and will have a rubber insert inside the socket to prevent breaking the spork plug in the event that you do not have the socket perpendicular to the cylinder head when loosening the plug.

If you can't twist the boot off, you can buy a tool to grip the boot while twisting.
When you reinstall the spark plug boot, put a light coating of silicone grease on the inside of the boot to prevent the boot from baking on to the porcelain of the spark plug next time.
