Unknown Wire

I’ve got some rando thing hanging out of my wiring on my handlebars. Anybody know what it goes to? I tried looking under my throttle and seeing if it plugs into anything, no luck. It doesn’t light up… I’m clueless.

Looks like it could be a light sensor, albeit a bulky one.. Does the motorcycle have a headlight modulator installed?

Hmmm… that’s an idea. No, there’s none on it as of now. All the controls are stock.

You were right! My buddy (who bought the bike from the original owner), said that there was a headlight modulator on the bike at one point. Looked it up, and sure as shizz that was the headlight sensor in the video. Gonna rip it out. Thx for the help.
