What is your other ride(s) if any?

A 2010 NT700V/w ABS is my other bike.

It has been a super-reliable workhorse and the odometer now reads close to 75k miles. I installed a shorter shock eye right off the bat because the 31.7" seat height was too tall for me and dropping it by about 1.5" made all the difference in the world. At the original height, I was on tip toes at a stop light! With my 2013 NC700X (also lowered!), the NT has become my long distance bike so only get ridden 2-3 times a year.

Out on the grocery getter today. First time out on it in a few months, finally got the cracked headpipe welded up.

2 things...

1.) Drug floorboard casually turning off highway onto side road.

2.) Caught myself reaching for what is the horn button to downshift when slowing down.... more than once.

.....thanks NC. Lol. Aside from that, it sure is hard to beat the comfort of this unit.

This is what the headpipe on rear cylinder looked like. 3.5 years old, Vance and Hines dual bagger exhaust. My dad welded it up, if it cracks again, I am going to call V&H and raise a little hell. Popular issue on the Vulcan forums. Cracked in a spiral all the way around. Cheap thin tubing.

I added a Victory Cross Roads to the garage this spring. However until I can get the seat replaced to help long ride comfort the NC is the ride it all day in comfort bike. The Victory's name is Velvet and the power is nice, cruise control is wonderful. But the NC is so nice and light, and a delight to ride. Probably one of the few things I wish the NC had is a cruise control. So I have to say between the two the NC is still my preferred ride.

So I just picked up a mint (except for the engine corrosion) 2012 Nc700x DCT. Great bike I love it. My other scoots are a 2015 Can Am Spyder RT limited, 2015 HD Roadglide Special, 1998 Buell S3 Thunderbolt. Different rides for any occasion.

Sorry, no pics.

16 KTM 1190
15 KTM 690 converted to a SM
17 KTM 1290 Super Duke
17 Yamaha R1 track only

The NC is my daily driver to work and back with a occasional trip to a university when required as part of a program I am in.

Looking to add a proper dual sport when I have more time to do it.

That's a sweet lineup! Especially the R1 track bike part!

Just bought the NC and loving it so far! My other 2 toys are a 1974 Datsun 260z with an LS6 and a 2014 Triumph Thruxton. Yup, they’re the same color lol.
