Your best bet is to look everywhere. That increases the possibility of running across the perfect (for you) bike. By everywhere, I mean fb marketplace, do a search online w/ multiple search engines, post a 'Wanted' ad in multiple mc forums, etc.

Had to fly out to a bmw dealer in Detroit but was able to snag a 2013 with 20k miles and full hard luggage for $2999.

Well $25 for a transit tag lol, I was amazed no one had jumped on it. It was on cycle trader for more than 2 months!!
