1. Can I simply have a shop move my 2012 manual NC700X wheels to a 2014 NC700X ABS bike or can that not be done? I just had new tires put on my bike.
2. Did Honda cut out the side back plastic on the 2014 for the Honda bag mounts? On the 2012 model, you had to cut out a bit of plastic on each...
I am guessing it is a euro spec model, love the orange'ish color though don't know the year nor color name. Figure was not sold in USA...sadly.
Also,
1. if considering a dct....to replace my manual...what is the best year or anything from 2021 onward is pretty much the same?
2. Is the stock...
Now 65 years old and just not feeling it on two wheels it seems. Else maybe just not feeling it on my 2012 nc700x manual. It has around 7k miles on it. Also have a 05 r1200rt not ridden in a long time though do love the boxer engine on it that year and transmission is very smooth shifting...
Sad that I have kept the stock 2012 honda nc700x seat. It really sucks big time. Will see if the Air Hake seat (add on) will help any. Just seems an after market front seat cost so much $ and did not locate one used at a good price.
Doing a 'play' Off Road Training that Instructors from BMW...
Hum, have a 2019 goldwing tourer dct plus my 2012 nc700x and an aprilia mana 850gt cvt. I do like a manual on the nc700x though maybe getting older and no longer want to change gears with a clutch. How crazy would it be to change from my 2012 700 to a 2016 or newer dct since that is the year...
Few quick questions for anyone using these led lights.
1. Better to buy the Honda mounting light bar or install lower using fork/fender mounting point?
2. Was thinking of doing sport diving beam (10 degree beam pattern) on left side and flood beam lens which has 25 pattern on right side. My...
Long story short, had to break front fake tank key for storage area to get my keys. Now near empty and since lock is screwed up cannot insert key to flip back seat up to gas up. Do ii call a flat bed?
You know sometimes it is the free stuff that cost you.....went for free pancakes and got Denali d2d lights for 20% off retail plus tax.
So....how to install them is next question to ask :)
1. They offer low setting and if desired a high setting that goes on when you hit your headlight high...
Ok, they got to hit the dealers soon and when they do someone go do a demo ride and report back to the motthership how it compares to our nc700x bikes.
I understand what honda is trying to hit in the market place with that model just not certain it can do it as nicely as our nc700x already...
Nice riding bike, lower shift points and a bit out of breath at times going up grades it seems though a down shift fixes that. Never test rode it before purchase though very happy thus far. Dealer in to tocca ga did good job for me.
Liking my madstad windscreen thu once hitting higher speeds...
Well I do hope it is all a miss communication though I am concerned that the agreed upon price for my nc700x for $5,493 plus $200 doc fee then I pay taxes in Florida appears to have changed to $6,053 for the cost of the bike based on an email I got today from sales person.
I will hold tight...
Madstad is willing to make me some back plates for when I mount the windshield they are making me. Anyone in a position to provide me with a drawing of the back of each side of the stock mounting bracket plate areas where the four holes are for the nc700x and indicate the hole locations...
Hum, need to stop soon...already got the Honda center stand, after market rack and givi plate. Now considering Honda heated grips. Thinking last thing I may consider is a Honda accessory power plug though they will add battery tender wire. Will do a madstad windscreen also.
Not a clue...
did not need yet another ride but elected to purchase a left over 2012 nc700x. a few places discounted them to $5,499 and at that price point it was hard...at least for me...to say no.
Never rode one yet and have only read a few things such as low top end rpm (6,000), best to short shift at...
