These fixes are not recalls, they are "product updates", probably ticks a different safety box legally.
Very true. I jumped ahead there a bit.

Oh I'm well aware that of that, that is why I won't be having it done (hopefully).
I think I mis read Pprior's post, I thought he was asking if the odometer randomly resets.
It was early and I couldn't have been properly awake.
The frunk lock is only on a specific range of VINs, they checked today and my bike is not in the list for that product update.
I've had no issues with mine and I would hope that after 10 months and 3200 miles any problems would have surfaced by now.
Does replacing the dash also mean replacing the ECU? I have no idea where the Electronic Control Unit is located on the bike.

...... HISS indicator light set to on? .....the little red flashing light on the dash.....
You are correct. We don't have HISS in the USAMy USA Owners Manual does not show a dash HISS indicator light. I'm assuming then, HISS is on bikes other than USA and it stands for Honda Ignition Security System.
I had my dash replaced along with new tires a couple of days ago. I still need to set the clock... (It would've been nice if they did it...but) The recall and techs said they would put a nice big decal stating the cluster was replaced and at what mileage, and they did. So hopefully when/if I decide to trade/sell it there should be no headaches like happened with my last Ducati. Now I just have to keep track in my head for when all the actual services are due... (Grrrr)
