I just got my NC yesterday, so no plates. Thinking about just going through, transponder or not! Otherwise, I have the transponder from my car... I'm actually going to try to call them tomorrow.

Did you look into the Givi boxes at all, or just go strait with the Honda?

Is there any advantage of a tail bag vs. a top box? Guessing the box is more secure and a fixed solution?

I remember seeing some grumbling here about the OEM tires not being very good. Then, when I took delivery, the salesman said something to the affect that they really needed to be broken in for the first hundred or so miles before I started really leaning in on any turns. What's the scoop? And...

Oh, she knew, but was holding out hope I wouldn't do it. She doesn't work, and one of the reasons I took this new job w/ the new commute with the nice pay bump because when I asked her to go back to work, she flat out refused. She'll just have to get over it.

So, I bought my NC today to attack my 51 mile each way commute. How would you recommend I carry my laptop to work? Top box? And if so, which one? Backpack? I'm ready to learn from the pros! = John
