    New DCTs?

As a former NCx guy, manual, now Africa DCT-- Never looked back. It's got very little to find issue with, if anything. Especially liking bulky protective footwear and a size 15. Always loved shifting as much as the next guy, and wouldn't have thought I'd love it as I do. All my focus is...

    Shinko 705

I can probaly get another 1k or so till mine are quite as worn as yours there. 4k has me down to the mold lines. highway and suburban and country roads. some gravel and dirt in there as well.

    Shinko 705

based on my experience that will be very soon. I have 4k on my 705 150.70 and it's toast. wish someone could tell me why. I don't ride that hard, but have the misfortune of living in MIchigan. The front is SUPER loud. probably will go another way when it wears out. already got a 712 for...

    Inexpensive skid plate

if it could possibly work and you obviously know you're not getting the best protection, but something much better than nothing. 23 bucks is a no brainer. And of course you know if you're part of that single digit % that takes the NC beyond a gravel road. What I can't figure based on the...

    Inexpensive skid plate

watch the youtube of the hepco becker skid install and note the steps anchor points and hardware that does not come with that and you may determine if it's viable or you're wasting your time. In my experience some of the chinese, alot of them, will shamelessly claim compatibility and it's not...

anyone know the size and thread of the pinch bolt? Mine came out today. Need another. I know it's a 10mm head. Might just go trial and error it at the hardware store. thanks

Brake light stays on, after fender eliminator install

fixed, my brake light may not have been working since I lowered the brake to compensate lower pegs. It didn't sit all the way back down in the bracket (the light switch). Scary! good thing I did the tail eliminator as i never saw the brake light activated@

Brake light stays on, after fender eliminator install

thanks for your reply. I am going to disconnect those switches today, I just didn't see how it could affect them being mechanical while i put the eliminator on. As for the wires, they've been checked and rechecked. There's only one ground to make everything work, then running and brake late...

Brake light stays on, after fender eliminator install

Can't figure it out. I hooked the stock brake light back up and it did the same thing. It wasn't the quickest or most graceful install as I was working around some permanent luggage, but I'm reasonably experienced working on my toys and such. It's driving me crazy. I'm pretty sure a brake...

    Radiant Cycles shorty GP exhaust

I don't mind that sound of the shorty in the youtube video. I too thought it would be screaming and popping like your average straight pipe, not bad though. i got a chinese akro copy, off ebay, I love it, throaty, just enough to hear it with a helmet on at speed. Few options too, from very...

    $5 DIY Fender Riser

+1 for the shinko's. was one of the first things i did when I got my 2012 last month. Ditched the latex glove thin metzelers that were toast in 4900 miles. Put on the 705s at the reviews here on the forum. what a revolutionary move that was. and to think they're near the cheapest, likely...
