    NC700X vs CTX700N

I have the CTX700 DCT and enjoy it very much. I was looking at both the NC and the CTX when I bought, and I really like the storage space of the NC, but my wife thought the CTX was a bit more comfortable sitting on it. She also liked the seat height better than the NC since she is only 5'6"...

Thanks for the replies. I thought I have read posts where people have bought them in the U.S. recently. Thanks, Jeff

    How to get a NC750?

Hi, I am ready to trade my Silverwing in for a NC750 DCT but when I call the shops out here in California they say it isn't available in the U.S. at all. Can anyone tell me how you got your 750's? I hear the 750 is a slight improvement over the 700 but also reading about the 700 I know I...

    Hello from Peru

DBD, Welcome to the forum. There are only a couple of people lucky enough to have this bike so far. We don't get it in the U.S. until summer, I think. Tell us when you get it there and which models. Tania, from South Africa, is getting 68 mpg (US) which is really something.

    Hello from Durban, South Africa

Hey Tania, I went on fuelly.com and saw your mileage. Wow!!! You are averaging almost 70 mpg (US). That is what 250cc bikes are getting.

    Cruising RPM's

Hey Tania, Thanks for the article, it was very interesting. I also just saw your last fill up where you averaged 71 mpg (i'm using the convertor to convert to US). That is some really good mileage and I'm reading a lot about how comfortable it is too. It must be nice to get the good bikes...

    Cruising RPM's

tanserf, Thanks for the info about the rpm's. It sure cruises at a low rpm and I bet it is smooth on the highway. I also saw your youtube and it sounds really nice. Thanks.

    A perfect commuter bike? 2012 Honda NC700S

tanserf, What kind of riding were you doing to get the 71 mpg (US)? Was it highway or a mix? And if you don't mind, I put new topic on about cruising rpm's, what are the rpm's at 65mph? Someone answered my question on the other topic that he thought he saw in the video that at 65 mph the...

    Cruising RPM's

Hi, I was curious what the crusing rpm's are on this bike. I know that Mark (horobags) has one and I think there is someone else on the site with one too. I have the Silver Wing scooter and at 65 mph (actual per gps) I'm running at 5,000 rpm's and was wondering what the new NC700 is running...

    A perfect commuter bike? 2012 Honda NC700S

Yes, it is impressive. The 1st tank was 62.8 mpg US and the 2nd tank was 71.4 mpg US. That is really good and I get it gets a little better as it gets more broken in. And I like the looks of the bike too. It will be nice when it gets to the Honda shop here so I can see it. Thanks for...

    A perfect commuter bike? 2012 Honda NC700S

Mark, Thanks for the info and it's great you really like your new bike. It is also really nice to get 15-20 mpg more on the NC700 than the SWing, along with the smoothness and better suspension. I think the SWing is a very smooth bike but I always wondered why they come with small tires...

    hi from sunny manchester,

Welcome to the site. I just joined yesterday and am very curious about this bike. Please give updates the more you ride it and I think you will be popular since not too many have ridden this either. There is a lot of chatter on some of the scooter sites about this bike. I read your last post...

    A perfect commuter bike? 2012 Honda NC700S

horobags, Thanks for the update. If I may ask a couple of questions without being a pain: 1) Do you have the 6 speed where you shift with a clutch on the handlebars or is it like a 6 speed automatic where you just hit a paddle shifter without pulling a clutch lever in? 2) Is it a bit more...

    Honda Accessories site from Honda

I was looking at this site of Honda's for accessories. Looks like they thought things out to make this a "mid size touring" bike. Looks good to me. http://powersports.honda.com/2012/nc700x/accessories-gallery.aspx JeffR
