I added the 2" risers too. Also added a set of pegs that allow me to lower and extend the pegs forward. I'm 6'1" and the combination got me a lot closer to the KLR ergos. You can go to cycle-ergo.com and click options and play with the changes when modifying the bike. It's a great site.
Me too. Got a 2013 KLR and 2013 NC. I love the ergos of the KLR but the engine (low end torque) and DCT of the NC have spoiled me. Trying to convince myself an AT DCT would provide the best of both worlds. Not convinced yet.
I squeaks from relatively minor movements...even just walking with it on. Like most cheaper open face helmets, the sides are very flexible. I can hold it in my hands and make it squeak.
It's a cheap helmet and I'll definitely buy better. However, I need to find a source locally so I can...
I bought a Nolan N44 from Revzilla but, unfortunately, it didn't fit. Had to send it back. Until I can find a local store carrying the N44 and get properly sized, I picked up a GMax G67 to get me by for a while. This helmet squeaks like crazy. Is this normal? Will it quieten down after a...
That's extremely kind of you. There's a motorcycle guy just a few miles from me that will attach the Seat Concepts for $45 (front) if I do that route. So I should be good. Thanks again. Tom.
I need to replace my stock seat NOW. I can't take it any longer. Considering Shad or Seat Concepts. I seriously doubt anyone has tried both?
I'm leaning toward Shad because it's "turnkey" and I can keep my original pan for future mods and experiments. Thoughts?
Hi SergeantChuck,
I was born and raised in Swain County, NC. My father still lives there. The drive through Deals Gap and 28 to Franklin is awesome. My family has property on 28 and I learned to drive on that road. Been over it hundreds of times...but never on a bike. :(
Hi n30r3l0ad3d,
I watched your Seat Concepts review a couple days ago. Thanks for putting that up. I'll probably go that route to start. Seems affordable.
