Agree with you on this, Greg. One day I jumped onto a highway with traffic and was accelerating rather quickly. I hit the rev limiter like a brick wall. I thought something fell off...until I realized what it was. Wish it was a little more gradual or subtle.

Our son, who runs a bike repair shop, claims that the battery doesn't start charging until you get above 2500 rpm. When he said that, he was actually referring to an older Nighthawk 750. Would that same info apply to the NC?

Thanks Ed. Pretty much my experience also. Although I haven't tried the night ride since installing it. Here are some pix. I'm 5'10" with a 32" inseam and this screen is a good height for me. It's just tall enough to get rid of the wind noise.
