2016: What did you do to/with your NC700 today?

Ordered new tires - Michelin Road Pilot 4's front & rear. My rear tire is starting to show cords, so it was time. Once they arrive will head to my dealer to have them mounted. The other thing - not done today - but finished today - was I installed a top case that I had sitting around from my...

    Zipper jacket to pants

Well - received the Olympia Avenger mesh suit - excellent quality and style - great features, doesn't weigh a ton and would easily roll to fit in the frunk. Perfect But it's not (at least for me) Unfortunately, I am blessed (CURSED!) with a large frame, and even though I ordered a 4XL - it...

    Zipper jacket to pants

Update - Decided to do both Keep what I have, and add the zipper attachment from the jacket to the pants and try that route (Both jacket and pants have quilted liners for colder riding) AND I bought the Olympia Avenger one-piece suit (mesh suit for summer riding)

    Zipper jacket to pants

Thanks for all the input I'm still torn between new pants or the one piece suit Or perhaps neither, stick with what I have

Does anyone have a good EZ Pass (Toll Tag) mount suggestion?

I keep mine in the map section of my tank bag. When I get to work I remove and put in the frunk on top of my riding pants that I store there. Reverse for the ride home. Never forget it and it always works at the tolls

Love My Madstad but is it Too Tall?

I have the biggest of them all - a whopping 24" screen! (as suggested by Mark at Madstad) I did drill holes to lower it, and I keep it in the lowest position possible...headlight glare and the edge glow can be an issue. I blacked out the bottom part of the screen, and painted black the very...

    Zipper jacket to pants

I have an Alpinestars Cape Town jacket (love it!) Current pants are Fieldsheer, but the zippers don't match up. I could go and get the matching zipper from my jacket sewn onto the pant, but I am looking for a summer overpant (mesh) because my Fieldsheers get a bit warm. Thinking of maybe...

    Zipper jacket to pants

Hi all I am looking to get a new pair of overpants, and would like to take advantage of the zipper attachment on my jacket....but I have no idea how that works. Keep jacket zippered to pants all the time (like a wanna be one piece suit)? Zip up each time you gear up? (How? Reach around...

Aux LED flood lights - look ok?

I agree...I just quick mounted them on top, and then dinner called. :) They will be more of a triangle if mounted below, and that's what I will probably do. Thanks for the input!

Aux LED flood lights - look ok?

Well, here is a quick pic of the square lights mounted temporarily just for looks. Now the decision on if they should be mounted on top (as shown) or below the mounting bracket (like StratTuners are mounted)

Not the only rider at work today

Same for me - I usually start around the end of March, early April. But with the winter we had in new England...out earlier I go! Central MA here

Not the only rider at work today

A lot of riders where you work I take it, yea? Where I work, they have two vehicle sized designated spots in one parking lot area, as well as spots on each level of the parking garage. And they have electric vehicle charging spaces as well - which I thought was pretty cool. Drive in, charge, and...

Aux LED flood lights - look ok?

There are two bolt holes located under the beaks plastic cover. (See # 5 in the drawing below) The mounting instructions for the aux light mounting bracket show it pretty good. You need to remove two of the black clips on each side, and a Philips screw at the front to remove the plastic cover...

Not the only rider at work today

Yup - that's a non-issue for me. But I did add extenders to the mirror stems to bring them out further. No issue with hitting levers at all. Although, I had to remove my hand guards because those would hit big time.
