I use a Garmin Zumo 550. Searching for items and browsing the map isn't as easy as it was on the one it replaced, a Garmin 276c but I like it and it works for me. No other experience other than these two and a Nuvi 200.

I like the green and I've heard that that is one smooth motor. But, it can't beat or match the price of the NCX.

Hmmm, they always sound different in person but that wasn't too bad. You can still here the whine of the motor so that IMO might be good choice. I suspect your mpg's may suffer though.

I don't think they have "regressed". The seat on my 82-CB750F was a killer as was the seat on my 01-R1150R. I think factory seats have come a long way, for instance take the first Goldwing seat and compare it to todays GW. Different bikes of today for sure, but the seat design is much more...
