I removed mine with a vice grip and hammer , worked great two wacks and it was out , put my hand guards on , and no vibration at all ...FYI.

I wonder about some of you that say your " embarrassed " ??? This bike a a different type here in US, Adventure, so many people ( that don't ride normally ) know what Adventure Bike is, so that's that, if your embarrassed to ride your NC because of people not knowing what type an Adventure Bike...
