2017: What did you do to/with your NC700 today?

They are great but pricey with shipping...only issues I had was the shipping took more almost a month here in OR and the bolts supplied are not of the correct size (length) when taking into account the thickness of the gaurd mounting plate and one of the holes (front left lower iirc) dont align...

US Internet Source for NC700 Parts

+1 on SouthBoundHonda ordered the left side plastics from him when I low sided and had to replace the left side plastics. Beat the nearest retailer cost for parts by nearly 500$ overall. For small stuff amazon/ebay always have them.

    Clean brake rotors/remove brake fluid

I am about to change the front brake pads on the NC. So I'd figure it would be good to clean the rotors too. Question is there a way to clean them without removing them off the wheel. I don't have the center stand or engine jack (maybe my christmas present this year). However I do have the...

ALMOST CRASH! It ain't always the dumb Cager's Fault!

Feel your pain with a similar stuff over the weekend...wife and I were navigating downtown portland, which is a horrible idea in a car with the GPS, came up on the intersection where we didn't have to stop and the other sides crossing the street had a stop sign...then there comes a bicyclist...

MMoto Engine Guards bolts are too short

Two different opinions for two valid reason. I think I will be ordering the 10.9 bolts too. Reason being if the bolts do end up breaking it would be a PIA to get it out. Unfortunately I have already being ridding and might require me to park the bike for a while. Can anyone point me from where I...

    Looking for another bike

KTM also does gel seats for 1190 Adventure not 1190 Adventure R. Didn't feel much difference when I sat on it. It was a demo/sales bike loaded with all gear but it was a shame it was a not allowed to be ridden. Link for CC on 1190 ADV...be prepared for spend a lot of time reading Who wants...

    Looking for another bike

Had a KTM demo ride this last weekend at a dealer. Went out for the heck of it and tired the 1190 Adv and 1290 SA. Preferred the 1190 over the 1290 SA...reasons 1. only 10 HP between the 2 makes no difference to me 2. 1290SA felt way top heavy compared to the 1190 3. 1290SA has CC standard but...

MMoto Engine Guards bolts are too short

Responded back to your PM. I had the same question as you but thought it would be best to play safe with the bolts provided by MMoto. May be others could chime in on the strength of the bolt as I am by no means qualified to answer that. I think I am going to order some replacement bolts too. Did...

well hope to see you out there again soon. Just an FYI if you're going to take old germantown rd to cornellius pass road be extra careful of the tight corner (infamous for a lot of reasons) near the vineyard driveway apparently the good folks there have recently added some gravel and some on...
