A few people have been scammed on the site, Only use paypal to pay for items for sale by other members. If they will not use paypal, its likely a scam NEVER SEND E-TRANSFERS OF ANY KIND.
I wouldn’t be worried.. as long the gas is sealed it should be fine.
Every other bike in the world carries gas there... no way there is enough heat to cause an explosion..

That’s a nice fit..
My thought though is, if you were actually traveling far enough where you’d need the extra gas, then you’d probably be using the frunk for actual luggage and tools etc

Well took it apart... It's a little plastic tab inside the lock assembly that failed.
My solution, I put in a little screw in to support the plastic tab. And it seems to work.
Now in the process of taking things apart I didn't pay attention to the spring.. and I wasn't able to figure out how it...
Key would turn, but not pull the cable to unlatch the lid
Had to pull it apart and finally wigged in a pair of pliers to pull the cable release.
