I requested time off for the week after Memorial Day. Kickstand should definitely be open by then. Hopefully it won't be all booked up. I usually get in by Wednesday so shouldn't have trouble getting a camping spot. EDIT: Woohoo - got approved. Looking forward to seeing everybody and riding!

It's clear from the Zach's review that the bike is not for him, but overall I felt it was fair. He did rate it in his top 5 bikes (ahead of the Triumph Tiger 850), so he obviously thought quite highly of it.

On the other hand, the cruiser (Rebel 1100) based on the same drive-train as the Africa Twin and NT1100 starts at $9299 so hopefully it'll be closer to that than a fully loaded AT.
