Read through the thread on this forum regarding the Tuono/Aprilia shock. I believe the Aprilia will work. Exact dimensions as original on my NC700X. 2020: What did you do to/with your NC700 today?
THAT! Seems this is a potential problem. I installed Givi guards with no issues on my 2012 NC700X. Likely it’s due to corrosion. Maybe help for future installers will be to spray penetrant first. If bolt is very tight removing, then screw back n forth adding penetrant as removal progresses...- Dragonjoe

Aprilia Tuono Rear Shock (Sachs)
I installed same shock with Ohlins 01095-44 spring.. 7 inch, 685 lbs/in. I weigh 170lbs plus gear. it will give you lots of preload threads. Lots of compression to install so not much adjustment Was needed. a few turns and sag was good. Set the dampers mid way and haven’t played around with...- Dragonjoe
