Engine bars of choice for NC750x (21-23)

Just wondered if anyone has any feedback on the engine bars available for the NC750 latest model (21-23). The Givi option now seems to be in two parts making it more expensive and less attractive. The SW Motech looks pretty good I just wonder if they come out far enough to protect the upper body as well. Any issues with fitting them yourself.
