black givi trekkers, does anyone have them?

First of al this is my first post so...: HI there!

I'm onno, I just ordered an nc750x in black (can't wait till the 9th!!!).
I'd like to say this forum has been more than helpful with all my questions BRILLIANT!

Now i'm looking to buy some cases and decided I'm going for these:

The older style trekker's from givi...

As shown above they're available in black nowdays

I'm doubting if this will look nice on a black nc750x...
At first I was thinking about the silver ones but after seing this picture I'm not sure anymore... the bike looks 1/3 aluminium like this... especially since the shiny exhaust will be a carbon one too



I think I like the all-black look but i can't be sure because I can't find any pictures of these black trekkers on a black NC-X
Does anyone have these???

I've not seen any photos here of black ones (doesn't mean they don't exist)

I didn't know there were black trekkers until I read this post (though it says "new color" at the top, so I'm guessing that like the NC , I got the silver one a year before black was available.)

I can't speak for the color on the black bike (though perhaps some one with some photo shop skills could give you an idea what to expect) but I love the way my silver ones look on the silver bike... and they are incredibly useful when you want to carry a lot of stuff (I've just as much storage space on my NC with two 33's and a 50 as my father has on his goldwing... and mine can come off and be carried into remote campsites or hotel rooms)

I know the Trekker has a lock to keep it from being lifted off the rack by thieves but does it also have an integrated lock for opening the lid?

Very good looking in black. I have the silver, but like the black color a lot better. I also like the blacked out engine.

Yes, there is a lock on the lid that uses a key they provide.

Howdy doody and welcome along, great choice of colour, mines a black one too.

I think the black boxes will look cool, I can tell by looking at the silver ones on the NC and the black ones on their own, I then used my imagination.

Haha, only teasing, just go for it, you obviously like black anyway (like myself) so why even consider the silver ones?

@ miw, is that the original can that you've sprayed black? And what's that on your headlight, vinyl?

Yes, high temperature black spray...

On the headlight I wrapped... Inside I put a bixenon-lens... on this way I could it make a smaller vinyl

That headlight looks really mean! I like it, great idea but I think it would fail the UK MOT test.

Regarding the can, what I really want is an Ixil black can, but until the money is available for such an extravagance I'm liking the idea of spraying the can black as you have done.

To let you know, I spray my exhaust on August... The paint still look good...
I did not scratch the metal... Just washed fine and spray... Right after, let's say 20 minutes I put it back on the bike and I turned on the engine for 30 minuts...
