Where do you stash your gear when you get there?

Just a general discussion question - when you arrive at your final destination, where do you put all of your gear?

I know the frunk is most helpful, but that will swallow up my full face Helmet & gloves...so what to do with jacket & pants/over-pants, boots etc?
(assuming you do not have a top case and saddle-bags that is)

I have the rear case and saddlebags, so I essentially travel with a suitcase attached to my NC when I ride. As such, I use the rear case almost every time I ride.

I've always been a biker and not a car person, so my perspective is probably biased. The what to do with my gear/helmet etc., once I get somewhere, seldom really enters my mind, I'm afraid. It just is what it is. Where I go, the stuff goes, for better or worse.

I would be fibbing if I said it doesn't present a bit of a hassle some times, but generally I look at it as a trade off I'm more than willing to deal with. :)

I stuff my dainese jacket into my arai full face and into the frunk with my riding gloves outside of the full face. Without the shoulder pads and elbow pads of course. Good luck with the pants and boots. :)

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question, but it seems like the only 2 options are to either carry the stuff with you OR leave it with the bike. I suppose you could secure jackets and pants to the bike with a cable lock of some sort by running it through the legs and sleeves.... You could also utilize the helmet cable thing under the pillion seat so you could stuff other things in the frunk.

In the office, I have a locker.
Most of the time I am riding for pleasure, which means I have full gear on.
Helmet goes with me because I am lazy to unload the stuff to put in the helmet. My Shoei XL helmet does fit into the small 35L Honda box with some extra space left (40%).
:D

Depends. I have put gear in the frunk and used the helmet lock. Mostly I just wear the pants/jacket in to where I’m going. At work it is stashed in my cube ( I work in a cube farm). Arkansas has a lot of riders so seeing people in gear in a store or restaurant is not uncommon though cruisers are big here so you see a lot of chaps and fringe.

Wear it with pride (red Roadcrafter) wherever I go. I get lots of questions like are you a fireman? Do you work for Halliburton? Are you Santa Clause? Or my favorite.....are you hot? This one seems to get asked the most when it's 100 degrees outside. Duh?

Thanks for all the input. It was just a curiosity question, and I love the answers.
I myself will probably stash the helmet and gloves in the frunk, and take jacket & pants into the office.
Boots can stay on the feet, or I might change them at the office for the shoes.

Well, I do have the Honda saddlebags and top case, but that notwithstanding I simply wear my suit or jacket/pants and put my helmet and gloves in the frunk. At work, I take my stuff off and put it on a coat rack or over a chair. I keep a pair of work boots at work, so I change my boots there, too. My armored 1-piece suit _will_ fit in the Honda top case, so I could leave it in there. Too hot to do that here in the summer, though.

Since my NC came with the mounting bracket for the Top Case already installed, that was the first accessory I bought. For now, it plus the Frunk handle everything. But I only ride for recreation and don't commute so I don't have to deal with things to wear at the workplace. I initially thought about getting some throw-over bags but getting to the gas tank would present a bit of a problem, so I'm saving for the Honda side cases because I do want to take some longer trips.

Frunk and top case. I commute mostly with the NC. So when I get to work I have work provided clothes(uniform if that what you want to call it) I have to wear. So I wear my riding gear into work and we have a locker room where I hang up my gear on a coat rack and change into work clothes. Most of the time I'll take my helmet in with me so when I have a free moment I'll clean the bugs off my visor. If it's not all covered in bugs, I'll leave it in the top case while at work or at my destination.

I take my coat and gloves and roll them up tightly inside my helmet. helmet still fits in frunk.if it's cold I drive my vette.

In the winter when the gear is wet from the commute and it is cold outside, I walk in with it and hang it up to dry. Where I park, the wind funnels through at least twice as fast as anywhere else. So for at least six months of the year, I bring it inside the office. If I stop some place like Costco, I'll wear it inside and then take off parts like the jacket if I get hot. It's a lot easier to put the gear back on in a sheltered area, than to change in the parking lot to look "pretty" for everyone else.

When I get home, the gear goes inside in the family room. If you can have your gear "pre-heated" at room temperature, you don't loose precious body heat trying to warm it up. I can do an hour and a half commute in 35F weather without electric clothing that way.

In the summer, I put it under the seat. Sorry...you asked. :D I have 62 liters of storage under the seat and can put the modular helmet, riding pants, riding jacket, gloves under there...and have a bit of room left over for spare shoes and a different weight glove.

I know, it's an old thread- I ride daily to work and use the frunk for helmet/gloves and the Givi Case (52 ltr) as well for anything else. Two days a week I go on conditioning hikes and take one of my two Givi Side Cases and store either my boots (tight fit) or my summer riding jumbsuit. I've rarely used both cases.

If I'm going to be out of sight of my bike for any amount of time, I put my GPS and gloves in the Frunk. The helmet I lock to the left rear footpeg with a (TSA approved :p) 3 number combination luggage lock and the padded riding jacket I either take in with me or use a cable lock thru the arms to lock it to the bike. The stuff in the topcase doesn't need securing and if it does, I use another combo lock to lock the 2 zipper travelers together.
If I go into a restaurant, I try to park right in front of a window so that anyone interested in my stuff won't touch it because they won't know if I'm sitting right there watching it, (even if I'm not).

My Roadcrafter light fits in the top case. My Shoei Neotec doesn't fit in the frunk so I take it with me, or at work, leave it with the bike. It's covered parking next to security and everyone leaves their gear (and keys) with the bike.

When I'm just out and about my helmet and gloves stay with the bike, either in the frunk of off the end of the handlebar and I just keep wearing my jacket and boots. When I ride to work my helmet and gloves go in the funk, my jacket gets hung up on my toolbox and my boots hang out at the base of said toolbox.
