I have an opportunity to buy a used 2013 NC700X from a private party.
It has a little over 6K miles, has had one owner and appears to be well taken care of and in excellent condition.
It has manual transmission, no ABS and no accessories that I'm aware of.
What do you guys think is a...
That sounds like a pretty good deal.
I'm pretty sure that if I do buy the 2014 NC700X DCT, that I'll be required to pay MSRP + freight and/or other miscellaneous charges. Since I'm definitely stuck on getting a DCT, used ones or new, previous years, are almost nonexistent around here. The...
Thank you all for the overwhelming responses to this thread!
Even though I missed my tentative plans to meet with the dealer to look at and discuss the NC700X DCT, they seem to be understanding of my need to flush out the facts regarding the US arrival of the NC750X DCT.
We're all...
You guys bring up some excellent points and things to consider.
Someone mentioned "a test ride" from the dealer. Even though I'm an old guy (66 yrs.) with 4 decades of riding experience, they refuse all test ride requests unless you first sign a contract and blah, blah, blah.

I just received an email from my local Honda dealer alerting me that a new black 2014 N700X DCT arrived (in crate) and wanted to know if I was interested. I initially said "yes", but then I jumped on the computer to do some basic searches and found that a newer NC750X DCT model was available in...
I like the CTX700 N a lot. I sat on both of these and find them very comfy. As soon as one of my local dealers is able to acquire a black DCT/ABS model, I plan to make it mine.
I had the pleasure of checking this one out 5/24/13 in Woodbridge, Va.
This one has the standard transmission, however I definitely want the DCT/ABS model; I was just checking out the overall fit and comfort.
The twist and go throttle on this Vespa is what convinced me to choose the DCT version of the NC700X, as soon as it becomes available in my area.
IMO, my Vespa has been terrific for riding in local traffic and running short errands -- I love it.
