Well,if you ride through winter over in Europe like some do, something to measure the temp can be useful, if only to warn you the roads might be icy.

Just be grateful we still have it at all. I can see it being deleted next year in Europe. It needs a big styling and instruments update to keep it relevant imo. Not sure Honda will do this, what with the E-clutch getting lot of (positive) headlines.

Very little of that list is going to be on the NC if it gets updated. I expected an update in November 23 and we didn't get it, so if there is no change this November I think that signals the end of the line. The most I would expect is a TFT dash with some connectivity and maybe a styling...

You don't see many of them around over this side. I think it has done OK sales wise but it competes head on with the Tracer 9 GT/GT+ and that bikes has a lot of fans. It needs a mid life update IMO, with the styling tweaked and the electronics/DCT upgraded to the same as in the latest Africa...

I get that on my VFR1200 DCT after clearing fault codes with an OBD reader. A DCT reset as described above fixes it.

The CP3 engine in the MT09/Tracer9/XSR seems to be universally loved by vloggers and journos. I do find the looks of the Tracer variants off putting, but the latest 2024 MT09 variants are a bit more conventional. If I fit, I might be getting one later in the year.

The reason UK EV sales are low is mainly due to the pricing. They are still very expensive.

I'm no EV zealot but the battery is not a reason to disregard EVs anymore. Very early vehicles about 10 years ago with tiny capacites maybe, but these days the batteries will outlast the vehicles. Charging infrastructure, well that's a whole different matter..

You really need to measure the sag with the setup you have now. That will guide you to the spring stiffness you need. The spring stiffness on the OE shock is about 140 N/mm.
