My version of the Commuter Pant doesnt have velcro waist adjusters but Something similar to an adjustable strap on both sides.
Inside zipper from the crotch down with a zelcro tab at the bottom to protect the bike from the zipper.
It comes down to user preference. You can always buy and return.
I bought the Rev'It Commuter Pant and wear over Jeans. It does the job nicely and has kept me dry while riding through a few showers. Easy to get on/off, even with boots.

Well wisdom comes from experience so I'd be a fool to not consider such advice. It would be a smaller investment to purchase a top box instead of the side cases, especially since I dont have the hard case racks. I'd really only use it for lunch and gear storage. I was thinking side bags would be...
For those who own, or just in the know, does the V37 actually fit a large to XL helmet? I've read mixed reviews and google hasn't helped me get a straight answer. The previous owner installed a Givi top box mount and I know those will but I'd prefer to avoid a top box if possible.
I'm replacing my chain slider as it is beyond its service life. Problem is, I cannot get the two screws holding it to the swingarm to loosen. I'm prepared to cut and drill them out but before I do I'm curious if anyone knows if these screws are threaded into the swingarm or if they are...
Been thinking of adding a small lithium jump starter to the bike's kit as prices are reasonable and they're pretty light weight. Good investment or money wasted?
Thanks much!
670cc - Good to know. This is my first attempt, and I think it may be the bike's first as well. I've no idea if the previous owner ever did it. Glad its a simple process though.
I’m preparing for a valve check and noticed in the manual that the o-rings for both the maintenance cap and the “window bolt to check for TDC” (I dont recall the actual name) are supposed to be replaced after removal and not reused. Problem is, i cant find these online anywhere.
Anyone know...
Thanks for the advice guys! Covering the bike is a good suggestion which I hadn't thought of. Ill take a look at some Givi top cases as well. The Kreiga bags I'm interested in strap to each other and I can also strap them to my duffel for added anchor points. Would mount them like saddlebags. I...
For those of you who tour with soft bags, what has been your experience with security in urban environments?
Im planning some trips before Winter sets in and plan to do some light camping as well as foot tours. I’m leaning toward picking up some Kriega bags to accompany my Oxford duffel...
I love my NC for commuting as well as day trips over the weekend but now I'm itching for some long distance, week-long touring. I'm faced with the question of whether to invest in the gear which will make such touring possible / more enjoyable (i.e. bags, seat, shield, etc.) or invest in a...
