Well it finally happened! (GRAPHIC VIDEO AND IMAGES)

Glad you were not hurt real bad and thanks for posting. Listen to the audio at the 20 second mark. You were leaned over and decelerating in the corner. That certainly didn't help things. You should be gradually rolling on the throttle through the entire corner. Slowing while leaned will...

    OEM Saddlebags

Pretty low tech, but very effective... That's double stick foam tape and a plastic rivet in the center. I did follow the instructions, cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and waited 72 hours for it to fully bond before I went for a ride. I've had mine on for almost 12 months and have...

I started with black, then went silver. Nice to have options. I personally like the balanced look of silver front and back. WGW

    Weird weather: Who has snow?

I heard the weather dude say that this was the third time in recorded history. They are saying we could get up to 6 inches tonight. Maybe this summer won't be brutal hot like last year.

    Weird weather: Who has snow?

Ugh! 22 mile commute today...in the snow...in May! Boy did I get some looks. :) There was this erie buffer around me. Like traffic was predicting I would splatter bike parts all over the interstate and didn't want to get mixed up in the mayhem. :) No issues though. Just had to...

    OEM Trunk

Thanks MZ5, that's just what I was looking for. Looks like it secures in three places two hooks in front and the central latch in the rear. The other two nubs (on either side of the latch) must just be guide pins. Does the trunk actually lock in place with a key or can just anyone come up and...

    OEM Trunk

Can someone post up some pictures of the bottom of the OEM trunk? Not inside, but outside, underneath. I'm mainly interested in the mounting setup. I'd kind of like to rig up a shorty trunk that just snaps and locks onto the OEM rack. Something just big enough too keep tools and a tire...

    Sena bluetooth...AWESOME

That's awesome RobNPat, you will love commuting with a decent setup. I can't imagine riding without my bluetooth setup. I've been listening to pod casts on various subjects during my commute. I'm on the road at least an hour a day traveling back and forth to work. This gives me an extra 200...

    Center stand leg length

Looks like 10 1/16" from the floor to the center of the mount point (center stand pivot point). The legs are on 10" centers. Putting the bike on the centerstand puts the rear tire off the ground by about 1" with the stock tire. WGW

Interesting stripe on my passenger seat...

I "liked" your post, not because I "liked" what happened to you, but rather that you shared your story. Sounds like it was quite the scene and lessons were learned with no people injury. Somethings are painful to admit, but hopfully you saved someone else from making the same mistake. Again...

The Most Important Safety Equipment You Can Own

Your skills! We spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars on helmets, jackets, gloves, boots, pants, etc. But how much do you spend to enhance your skill set? Your skills are your first line of defense. Keep your shiny new bike and gear shiny. A skill tune up every couple of years (or when...

    Harley Davidson Lowside Motorcycle Crash

His body position was horrible. His inside elbow was locked straight. His body was leaning to the outside. He was fighting the bike and pushing it into the road. Maybe "trying" to drag a peg for the cameras, but bit off a little more than he could chew. Had he leaned his body to the inside...

    Weird weather: Who has snow?

From last week... My driveway and street is out there somewhere: Yeah, my neighbors house is really blue and my lawnmower is slighly chilled. I hate that lawnmower and I leave it outside all year long hoping that in Spring it won't start and I can finally replace it with a...
