    Herky Jerky

Mine did the same thing, I went to a 45T on the rear sprocket - She's a different animal around town now.:D

Hard side cases - Best $40 I ever spent

Drilled holes in the boxes - two bolts and lock nuts for each mount I pictured. (those mounts are from McMaster Carr) Stable? lol, yeah they don't move at all. ♠ I accidentally tested their complete lack of movement with my knee cap the first time I swung my leg over after mounting them...limped...

    Loud Clunk shift from Neutral

Showkey hit the nail on the head- the sound is totally subjective. Is it 'silent'? of course not. It just doesn't sound like you're dropping a pumpkin into a 55 gallon drum anymore.

    Sparked a peg today!

I love seeing the occasional Harley guy take a corner and catch a solid mounted peg, that's a high level reality check right there.

    Loud Clunk shift from Neutral

I'm sure I'll get bashed by a few simpletons for this - BUT, I've own many, many Honda's as well as being a parts and tech support guy for 20+ years - if you want the clunk to go away, next oil change use Shell Rotella T synthetic 5w40. It's for diesels so it doesn't contain any of the additives...

    Adventure Bike? DCT NC 700X

After reading all of the above I can't help but think everyone including myself has their own idea of what 'off road' is as it pertains to this bike and it's capabilities. As for the the original question regarding the DCT off road... If you're talking anything more 'off road' than gravel or...

    1st Year thoughts

Cool Thread. This Bike was a difficult choice for me. I've been riding Honda's my entire life (42yo) and for the last 20years I've praying for Honda to release the Africa Twin to the U.S.. Anything, anything that could compete, at least a little on some level with the BMWs. The NC7X is the...

    Cast wheels...

I apologize if this has already been addressed - (did thread search didn't find squat) Has anyone had any issues with the wheels yet? I realize the majority of NC7X owners aren't going to ever leave blacktop let alone some of the stuff I've already put mine through. But every bump, rock...

At last a rear hugger which stops water spray over the rear of the bike!!

I'm running a Pyramid hugger and front fender extension above my MT60s. I don't baby my bike by any means and they do an A+ job, no complaints.

Muffler can - rear seam leak.

Good to hear. To be honest, I'll be really surprised if anyone else has the same problem. But given the short warranty period and the cost of a replacement - seemed best to throw some light on it.

Muffler can - rear seam leak.

Just FYI - if you still have the stock can on your scoot and it looks like the pic below - it's not supposed to. This bike is the 6th NEW Honda I've owned and this is my 1st warranty claim ever. In addition, This will also be the 1st time a wrench other than mine has touched one of my bikes...

Hard side cases - Best $40 I ever spent

No mods at all, the Givi supports were already on the bike so with the help of a couple of Irwin clamps I got them were I wanted them. Then marked were the supports were on the backside of the boxes. Took off the boxes and the supports threw them on the work bench, aligned the marks I made...
