    Parking brake noise.

I'm having the same issue with the clip/spring. I had the pads changed 2 weeks ago, drove for one week, then got the clicking noise while I could see the caliper rise and fall while the rotor turns, hitting on top of the petals. Called the dealer and told that I suspected that they bent it while...

    Lowering 700s

Time for an update... Well it was too low :-) Pegs were scraping the groung in tight turns and I hit the bottom on the engine while passing over bumps twice. So I removed them and got new links. Now its 2cm from the forks, 2 cm on the rear. All seems ok. Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk

NC700x manual shift - downshifting issue?

I had the clutch plates and pads changed today. The plates were blueish and the pads were dark, the service guy who recommeded replacing them told me that they were scorched, thus they were not disengaging completely and that was why shifthing was hard. It shifts like a dream now and I agree...

NC700x manual shift - downshifting issue?

I couldn't agree more. I reported that and the reply I got was that the full set of clutch pads/plates had to be replaced @ just 8.000km. I'm totally confused, my problem was "It's hard to shift." not "It's slipping" Could it be the case that the engine rev is lower than others? When I'm on the...

    Lowering 700s

What I got from all the posts on lowering is that when you lower the back more than front turning will be difficult, and if you do the contrary turning will be easy/quicker. I had a set of "bar backs" installed yesterday, now the handlebar is up by 3cm and back (towards me) by 2cm. Much more...

So what did you do TO your NC700 today.

Rode 40km to downtown after work to buy and install a set of bar raisers (SW Mothech 20something mm up and 30 something mm back). The outcome is like a dream. 700s handles like a f650gs for me now. Now I need to find a proper windscreen, any suggestions?

    Lowering 700s

I just thought lowering both rear and front by 2cm would keep the ratio same. Isn't this the best we can do while lowering? or is there another calc to be done and an uneven level to keep to have the same ratio? Or I got the question wrong?

    Lowering 700s

Thank you all, these helped a lot really. Just bought a 2nd hand 700s 2 days ago. I am surprised how easy it handles, how fun to drive and how... heavy it is for a guy like me :) So I definitely will lower it. Actually ordered one of the linkage kits from the bay. And I will also add a bar...
