If by relay you mean a circuit that turns on with the ignition then yes, it’s part of the installation and triggers the unit to power up and begin recording. There’s also a direct battery connection which maintains the time and probably other settings. It’s this which weakens the battery’s charge.

I have this installed on my bike too and agree with everything supertux1 said. It also draws from the battery when the bike is off and will kill the battery if the bike is not starter within a week or so.

The guy selling them on eBay out of Canada has zero feedback as a seller which raises a red flag with me. I’m wondering how he came in possession of so many colors and sizes at such a low price.

By the way, your speedometer showed 2 mph at the moment of impact so it was pretty much your momentum that took you over the trunk. Pretty good emergency braking for anyone.

I use this and even with the modular helmet making mounting positions difficult, the video is still pretty good and covers most of the front area when I ride. Replay XD 1080 Mini Camera Turns on by holding the button for three seconds and will continually overwrite as you fill up the memory card.

I'm surprised this hasn't been released yet. What could be the problem? Maybe they're not able to meet the Snell and DOT requirements.

It's the modular component at that price range that makes me wonder. I'm not basing this on anything, just speculating.

That looks a whole lot cleaner too. Not sure how a I feel about a $160 modular helmet though.
