Well most of Honda's bikes are just numbers and letters so lets go with TC1200H or whatever size the engine is. T for trike. C for concept like the C in NC. And H for hybrid.
AWESOME! I saw this thing the other day online and figured there'd be a thread here.
Anyone have thoughts on the hybrid drive? If it gives NC like mileage I'm all for it. Although it will probably be expensive.
Another page I was on had a comment complaining that a flat 4 has the crank...
I have a 55l Givi topcase. You should see the looks I get at the grocery (ATGATT) when I fill up my cart and then stuff it all in the top case and frunk. Family of 6 food for 2-3 days.
Pants. You want a good pair of insulated riding pants, and heated boots if your current pair isn't up to the task. Also tuck your feet in out of the wind. I was able to ride to 20F with just heated grips as a commuter 35 minutes each way, back when I had a V-Strom. I only wished I had heated...
Now can we do it for the rear seat too? I looked at your pics on your other thread. I don't recall seeing a part number for the Renault solinoid. Do you have that?
I've left my keys in the ignition more often than I like to admit or can count to (at least twice). Bike and keys were still there. Regular non biker people don't mess with bikes. They think we are all hard core outlaw biker gang members and will castrate their houseplants if they mess with...
I too am 5'8"-ish and will second the too narrow and noisy. That being said it is a huge improvement over the stock screen. I have a helmet with a visor (Hornet DS) and I had to remove the visor there is so much wind around the stock screen. The puig helps, but its still more wind than my stock...
Hmm I'm having this issue on my 2014. I guess our LED bulbs draw too much current. My bulbs are 1200 lumen (or so the manufacturer claims) and still draw 16w, which is way higher than a less expensive LED producing less light. Or something. :p It's still the easiest way to get LED flashers. I...
I got this relay MFR part number 40-301. It does not work on my 2014. Blinkers still flash at ~60/min. Anyone else have any ideas that don't include hacking up a bunch of stuff to make it work?
I bought that flasher relay, at least i think i did as that auction didnt list a manufacturer's part number. Mine looks identical. Theres another thread with another link that lists a part numer. 40-301. Thats what i got. Thats what the box was labeled. It doesn't work. I still flash at ~60...
Ill second that. Looks like mother Honda tried too hard to make our bikes too inexpensive. Hopefully the AT doesnt suffer the same.
Not that im getting one as the mpg is less than the NC and thats my deal breaker.
Bumping to top (secretly the end) to get more visability. I gots me a mutimeter and I knows how to sticks it on things so I wants to knows how to do this. So someone in the know please answer forthwith please and thank you.
Got my recall notice Monday. I haven't gotten the letter for the Frunk lock or the cluster. So I called the dealer I got it at. They don't have any kits, but they want me to bring it in this Friday to be inspected. I said sure. Now I'm thinking that if the discove I do need the repair they won't...
So I was just minding my business on my home from buying groceries for the week for my family of 6 (it all fit in the frunk no problem. Its like a TARDIS). When a bug flew straight into my zipper/neck area. It was hot so the zip was down a bit. I didnt think anything of it. Happens all the time...
THUMBS! It was always about the thumbs for me.
On my V-strom I had the zuki hand guards (Just wind deflectors really) and zuki heated grips. I also had Olympia Moto Sports black leather waterproof winter gloves. And well my hands and fingers were toasty but my thumbs were always cold, and numb...
Well, thats no fun. And the lever is mechanically linked to res if I'm not mistaken. Thats a bummer. I was kinda liking its new position and my hand relative to it. Oh well. Time to break out the wrench.
