I feel like the past few articles I’ve been able to source from Ducati’s press releases have shown off “record results” of one topic or another; from the brand’s triple crown in 2022’s MotoGP, to the past couple years of sales, of which 2022 was termed the brand’s “best year ever.”

Admittedly, today’s information drum bangs the same tune; if you don’t own a Ducati motorcycle, you’re likely about to give up screens in pursuit of a new extra-curricular… but rest assured, this drum is not whacked in vain.

That’s just how brilliantly Team Red has been getting along these days.

With that being said, let’s get into some specs that have, yet again, set “a new record for Ducati:” 2023’s motorcycle sales.

The Bologna-based bike brand’s recent press release tells us that Ducati is celebrating a stout +7% sales hike in Italy, with both the U.S and Germany showing off a +21% uptick, thanks to all three markets being Ducati’s top consumers. Deliveries are up, too, with +9% more Ducatisti receiving their machines of choice in anticipation of the new season (2,717 for Italy, 1,677 bikes delivered in the U.S., and 1,666 in Germany).

Overall, we’re told that the brand’s number one bike – the Multistrada V4 – is continually growing in popularity (2,668 of them delivered worldwide), while the all-new DexertX was the company’s “third most requested model in the Ducati range” – and, as ever, Ducati’s been expanding into new markets, with a recent forage into Switzerland.

All in all, the numbers look good – and Francesco Milicia, the VP of Global Sales and After Sales for Ducati, is happy to put the news down for the books.

“The deliveries achieved in the first quarter of 2023 set a new record for Ducati, with growth in all main markets,” enthuses Francesco Milicia, the VP of Global Sales and After Sales for Ducati.

“Our trusted dealers in the world play an important part when it comes to achieving these results, and they will also be in the first line for the second edition of the ‘We Ride As One’ event that will take place on the next 6th of May.”

“I want to thank them for their commitment to the brand along with our valuable Ducatisti.”
