Givi questions

Farkling season is upon us. Can the Givi off-set highway peg bracket be mounted low enough on the down tube frame to clear a Givi engine guard?

From photos it looks like it might fit. Has anyone done this combo?

I was given a pair and the tube diameter was larger them my frame, so i improvised! I removed the clamp part, drilled a large hole in both sides of the skid plate and bolted them on!! They still swivel around for that perfect fit and i like them mounted there. :{)
