Left Alaska but had to make a stop in Chicken. The air is heavy with smoke, lot of fires. I'll be surprised if I don't run into one yet. Camped right in town so I could walk around and have a drink or two. They had a new captain doing the Sourtoe Cocktail a young guy , don't know what happen to the old guy. New toe also, it was real raggy looking thing. Now after you drank your drink and the toe touched your lips he took the toe out and gave it a good squeeze to get the left over juice in your glass then you finish that off.

[Old Can Ride]

The ferry across the Yukon at Dawson City has some fast running cold waters to navigate. I believe if you were to fall in the water at that location, you would be dead.
