After a trip this weekend, I decided that I wasn’t satisfied with the PVC brackets. Worked well enough for the weekend but, long term, I want something a little more secure. This is what I’ve come up with so far:
5/16” steel rod bent and welded. Still need to make the tabs to mount under the grab handle bolts and a cross bar to go across the back. Ran out of time and energy. I’ll update as I make progress.
