Well, I went down to the local upholstery shop, dropped a grand total of $105 for this seat. Basically he pulled the old fabric, wrapped the seat with more foam, and put the carbon fiber fabric over the top. It's hard to see in the photo, but it's extremely close to the dark gray color of the side tupperware. I've had it a month and it has significantly increased the comfort level. It's no La-z-boy, but has increased the butt fatigue factor from one hour to two hours before I need a break. And the girl on back will now ride with me longer than just to the end of the driveway.
