Aren't Adverts like this a NoNo?

Sorry not an advert... (unless you think it is) I just thought it was an amazing mount. Delete if it's against a rule.
Just sharing the knowledge.

(I'm in no way affiliated with the company or got a deal or anything like that)

Looks good providing you want the phone right at the mount point, would still need the RAM ball & extender if you don't. Looks like they do offer that as a combo option. For me I have the ball mount and extender so that I can place the phone where it's most convenient for me and to give me the option to also move it around some as needed. The RAM mount I use works well too but I can see how this improves on it in various ways. If I'm 30' in the air with my NC700 though then it means I've probably ridden off a bridge

And I think the post is just fine as it's not an advert unless you were in some way an affiliate. As it stands, one of the great things about this forum is when people post, positive or negative about their experiences with their mods etc. Maybe the only change would have been to have posted after you had installed it and run it through it's paces and was then posting your specific experiences?!

Interesting. A bit pricey once you add the mounting options. Not to hikack the thread, but I'm ready for Apple to make a rugged iPhone that doesn't need a case at all. The technology is available - I'm tired of constant camera upgrades on a phone [emoji849]

Plus +1 I really appreciate good stuff like these type of postings. Collectively more eyes scanning the internet for stuff like this and then sharing with our members here can only be a good thing.

My only suggestion would be to try and use a new, sort of clearing house, thread recently started by fellow member netizen.

I will! I ordered today... I like the fact that off road guys say it works even off road, so for me 90% road, I'll be set.. and no dumb rubber band!

Again, sorry if it came off like an advertisement, I was just stoked it was a small guy making them in the USA and it was by all accounts rock solid.

Yes, this is a brand new type of Mount. I am always looking at new Mount types. I see an additional new type someone posted as well. Thanks for both postings. I'm not really happy with my current Mount and I own 4 different ones now.

Got my "perfect Squeeze". It's awesome. Machined to perfection. I'll get pics tomorrow.
I mounted my phone and it's SOLID. I would not worry about jumping railroad tracks with my phone in this mount.
And the clamp went right onto my added "handle bar crossbar". It's low profile and really awesome.

This looks good.... I want to check one of these out in person... I am looking for a mount that would hold my phone in a waterproof case like this in case of rain. I know it depends on the width of the phone...

Ok... I found this in my quest for a phone mount that will hold my phone securely in both sun and rain (inside a waterproof case).

This LOOKS like it would work. It is JUST the clamp (opens 4" wide)... need a base... or a conversion for Ram mount

and here is the Ram ball mount converter

I wouldn't trust that plastic to hold my phone.

Could you verify the open most dimensions? I'm considering this for use with a LifeProof FRĒ for iPhone 7, (5.9 x 3.1 x 0.5 inches). Thanks.

Ray

Yep.. tonight I'll make measurements and make a little video. It is SOLID compared to anything I have ever seen or used. And credit to the maker. It's 100% solid machined metal. The dovetail way the "clamp" mounts to the body of the mount is machining artwork.

Try discount code 5rolledtacos

It was good for 10% off when I used it.

(I am a Tacoma World forum member and the code was given there)

I have one similar to that mount.

After the RAM mount let my tablet go on a rough gravel road, I decide to try something else.
It's taken some hard hits and never let go of the phone.(Yet) I do have my S5 Active in a protective case. I retired the Ram mount to the bike parts cabinet.
I'm always on the lookout for a better mousetrap though. So keep 'em coming.
