Racing Products sidestand

We used links to lower my wife's NC700X, which means that the stock sidestand is now too long. So, I ordered a "Racing Products" adjustable length sidestand for a NC700S. I received it today, but have not tried to install it yet. It does not appear to have a provision for the little tab on the sidestand sensor.
Any of you familiar with this product?

Well I had to drill a little hole in it for the sensor tab, but it seems to work. $60 with free shipping.
