This is a very good article. After so many years of bulky abrasion resistance clothing, this is a welcome relief in the summer months. On the long adventures, I still put on mesh as the protection is still a bit better. But on local summer rides I really like the light weight abrasion resistance clothing, a lot less bulky. Kevlar is a bikers best clothing friend. They do make armour for under motorcycle jeans, but back to the summer heat issue when worn.
