Thanks, Techie. Actually, we don't have Ella anymore. My wife and I went to visit some friends for a weekend in Iowa late Oct when I was 'released' by my surgeon, and had my parents watch her. My dad fell in love with her (and he isn't a pet lover) and when I went to pick her up, he asked if he could have her. Since he is retired and home with my mom (she has 'her' dog), it was hard to say no. He acts like a little kid with her , so it was a great decision for me to let them have her. Besides, she was in her dog kennel during the day when we were at work, and now she gets to play all day without worrying about being kenneled. It was a win-win for both my dad and Ella. They only live about 20 miles or so away, so we can see her anytime.
