Continuing the fallout from the installation of the CBR 600 F4i rear shock, the lower unloaded height of the bike was messing with my sidestand heights and the lean angle. The factory sidestand was a little too tall and I was concerned about a gust of wind toppling the bike the other way. I did have the Soupy's adjustable side stand, but I do not like the look of it. I also had a Endurance lowered sidestand from webike. Of course the lowered sidestand was a little TOO low for stock dogbones, so I thought I'd raise it up a little while improving the contact patch.
Picked up the Givi sidestand extender, and also a rubber grip strip from Home Depot. the rubber base would also do well at not marring up my garage floor with the sidestand dragging around.
We'll see how the adhesive lasts on the rubber, luckily its easy enough to cut off another piece.
