Back for a final report.
After adjusting the back shock and moving the forks up in the triple tree 1/2", the results were exactly what I wanted.
The bike is definitely sitting a good half inch lower, getting me completely flat-footed at stops. Also, I can back the bike up by pushing with my feet, where I really couldn't before.
Can't detect any difference in handling at all either. Side stand still provides enough lean. A bit harder to put on center stand, but don't need to shorten it.
I like this bike even more now.
