Uh-oh. Mystery bolt found.

Yesterday evening I was out on the property, and I happened to spot an 8 x 40mm 1.25 pitch stainless steel socket head cap screw in the middle of the driveway. This looks like a rather important fasterner that likely fell out of one of our toys or yard equipment. So, today’s job is to go through all the vehicles/machines that were out in the past couple days, and look for an empty bolt hole. Then again, maybe it fell off the UPS truck??? Grrrr; not how I wanted to spend my Sunday.

All good suggestions. I looked over the Zero, Ryker, and two Rucki, but found no place for the bolt. I’ll keep looking.

It would be a mean practical joke to toss a few motorcycle bolts in a biker’s driveway

My Dad used to think it was the absolute height of hilarity to toss in a few extra machine screws when I was rebuilding carbs.
