I have rode motorcycles for 35 years and purchased a NC700X DCT this week. Following years or clutching and shifting, there is a bit of a learning curve to get use to the DCT but after riding fro a couple days, there is in my mind no way back. It's an amazing technology which only Honda seems to have fully mastered in the motorcycle area. DCT is smart, flexible and responds pretty much as I would 97% of the time. I had never felt that safe on a motorcycle thanks the NC700X low CG but also to the ability of the DCT to quickly and smoothly gear down when the driver needs to decelerate quickly. My only complain so far is a very stiff rear shock. No sure if there is a way to soften it.
