I went back out to Seat Concepts yesterday and took possession of the first seat for an NC700X. Overall, it sits well and I am happy with it for me. It does add a bit to the measurement from seat to ground. The first seat was a bit to firm, in my opinion, so they mixed a new batch of foam and re did the seat. They actually did this a couple of times while I waited. I do not feel myself sliding forward toward the frunk any more and think they are about right on with the seat. I took my bike by my Honda dealer and had several people sit and/or ride my bike. They all said the seat is a definite improvement over the stock. The closest thing to criticism was one big buy who thought the center of the seat could be dished out a bit, but he still liked it.
I watched Robert install the new seat on my seat pan. All in all, it doesn't look like an impossible challenge for a novice. They make the cover so you will just about be forced to get it on correctly. You will need a can of spray contact cement and a can of silicon lubricant. Contact cement to locate the new foam on the pan while installing the seat cover and silicon to make the cover slide easier on the foam during installation. I didn't see them, but think their directions will be adequate for the job.
Lenden said they should be up and running with the seat by the 18th. They are having the seat covers sewn and made ready for taking orders.
I hope I was able to convey to Lenden and Robert the wants an concerns I saw posted on the forum. Good luck boys and girls, I did the best I could.

I'll try to post some pictures tomorrow.
